Brittany Murphy is dead from a heart attack at age 32.

Sadly, my money is on anorexia.

I know Toys was considered a bomb and was nominated for a Razzie, but I've always been enchanted by this film. I saw it in the theater when it was released in '92. It's got fantastic art direction and the soundtrack is great. The plot isn't terrible and Robin Williams is not overly manic.

Thomas doesn't like it. It has too much whimsy (said with an air of disgust).

I have an audio project I want to work on that would require Adobe Audition, which isn't made for Macs (and there's not really anything comparable).

I'm not in a position to buy a PC, and this project is really the only thing I'd ever use it for.

Do any of you have an extra PC sitting around that you could let me use for about 6 months? It needs the following:

• Intel Pentium 4 (1.4GHz for DV, 3.4GHz for HDV); Intel Centrino; Intel Xeon (dual Xeon 2.8GHz processors for HD); or Intel Core Duo or compatible processor

• Windows XP Professional or Home Edition with Service Pack 2, Windows Vista Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise, or Windows 7 (certified support for 32-bit editions and 64-bit compatible

• 512MB of RAM

• 10GB of available hard-disk space

• DVD drive

• 1,280x900 monitor resolution with 32-bit video card and 16MB of VRAM

• Microsoft DirectX or ASIO compatible sound card

• QuickTime 7.0
